Your admissions record begins on day one of 9th grade. We’ll teach you how to think like an admissions officer, and provide you with a roadmap to equip you with the information necessary to set you on your path to your dream college.
Hourly Services
Hourly services give you the flexibility to decide how much coaching time works best depending on your student’s and your family’s specific needs and circumstances. Hourly services also work well for families who have specific topics on which they want expert advice and who want maximum flexibility.For families looking for more comprehensive support, Berkshire College Coaching can provide you with ongoing personalized and strategic advice to ensure you are on the “right track.” In these cases, after the initial intake consultation, we can recommend a coaching schedule for your individual needs. Typically, 9th and 10th grade families work with Berkshire College Coaching for 4-6 sessions each year. During this time, we advise on a range of topics, including:
● An overview of the college application process and a personalized timeline of “what todo and when” in order to maximize your student’s options at the end of the college aplication process.
● Insight into the world of holistic admissions and how to think like an admissions officer.
● Developing an academic profile that will stand out to admissions officers.
● Identifying and pursuing activities that are right for you and will allow you to highlight what admissions officers want to see.
● Understanding the different types of colleges and which might be right for you.
● Collaborating on action plans to help students reach their goals.
