We will provide you with comprehensive, personalized coaching to ensure you are on the path to your dream college. Our work will be conducted through a mix of six, one-on-one coaching sessions and out-of-session support through our secure, collaborative website, accessible only to Berkshire College Coaching students and their families. The website will supply you with resources to assist you through your college admissions process, including a database of college profiles to help you investigate schools. This package is designed to “chunk” the college application process to minimize stress, keep you on track to meet your goals, and help you maximize meaningful options at the end of the college application process. We’ll provide an overview of holistic admissions, teach you how to think like an admissions officer, and deliver personalized guidance on the following topics:
Credentials Assessment and Planning
● Developing an academic profile that will stand out to admissions officers.
● Identifying activities that are right for you and will highlight what admissions officers want to see.
● Creating action plans to help you boost your credentials and attain your goals.
Building a Balanced College List
● Developing personalized criteria to help you decide which colleges will be a good fit for you.
● Teaching you about the different types of colleges, how to research schools and how to make the most out of your college visits.
● Identifying “likely,” “match,” and “reach” schools that align with your unique set of criteria.
● Assessing your admissions chances at the schools on your list.
Pre-Application Work
● Building a college admissions-ready resume.
● Selecting and asking recommenders.
● Developing your application narrative.
