Dawn Corrigan

Dawn was a first-gen college and graduate student. For her undergraduate degree, she turned down Princeton for Sarah Lawrence College after she and her mother attended an amazing novel-writing workshop on SLC Admitted Students Day (a decision mom supported!). During college, she tutored other first-gens at Stockton State College (now Stockton University) and Elizabeth Seton College, and during grad school, served as a tutor for the University of Florida Athletic Department (Go Gators!). She has taught expository and creative writing at UF, the University of Utah, and Salt Lake Community College. Dawn's poetry and short prose have appeared widely in print and online, and her publications include a poetry chapbook and a mystery novel. She enjoys helping writers of all ages find their voice and learn to see that their stories and ideas are interesting and worth writing about.
