About Lexi
Lexi is an Admissions Advisor for 7Sage College Consulting and is based in Windward Oahu. Before joining 7Sage, she worked as an admissions counselor for two years at Wesleyan University where she read thousands of applications, helped make admissions decisions, and learned what can truly make an applicant stand out from the rest. As the first in her family to attend college, Lexi understands that it can be tricky to navigate the college admissions landscape and to feel confident doing so.
As many in the industry say, "you don't know what you don't know." Her mission is to help make the college process clearer and more accessible to students and families by offering personalized guidance, proactive planning, and a thoughtful approach to college admissions. You might even catch her conducting a College Admissions 101 workshop at the Kailua Public Library!

Application support
Your college application tells admissions officers a story about who you are as an applicant and as an individual. We'll help you navigate the Common App portal and provide guidance on how to communicate your academic and extracurricular pursuits on paper in a way that’s polished, personal to you, and practically jumping off the page for admissions officers reading your application.
Identifying recommenders
Letters of recommendation make a big difference in an application. We are here to talk through the process of identifying recommenders that are most likely to write glowing letters and meet any requirements of schools on the student’s college list, and we will offer pointers on how to ask someone to write a letter on your behalf!
Resume-building & interview prep
Colleges and extracurricular programs may require that students interview and/or submit resumes as part of the application process. We will help you build a polished resume and prepare you for those interviews by conducting mock interviews, sharing commonly asked questions, and providing tips on how to answer questions with both professionalism and personality!
Enhancing extracurricular profile
It’s not only how you perform in school, but also the impact you have outside of school that counts for admissions officers. Leadership roles, community service, school-based involvements, passion projects, academic pursuits, pre-college programs –– the list goes on!
